Dear Members, Alumni, Partners, and Friends of ACTMalaria:

We would like to thank everyone who participated and supported the Regional Symposium on Malaria entitled: "StrateGems Against Malaria in Asia: Harmonizing Malaria Control Along and Beyond borders" held at the Philippine International Convention Center in Manila Philippines last November 28-30, 2006.

This event was in celebration of the 10th year Anniversary of ACTMalaria and culmination of the Philippine Malaria Awareness Month. The symposium highlighted the relevant contributions of National Malaria Programmes and our partners in Asia in achieving the millennium goals and targets of malaria control. This activity was supported by USAID-ASIA, TDR, ADB, WHO-AUSAid-RBM- Mindanao, Global Fund for Malaria Project-Philippines (PSFI and TDF), and the private sector.

We are grateful (1) to all the presenters for taking the time to share their experiences in programme/project implementation (2) to all the panelists/reactors who enriched the sessions by sharing their expertise during the discussions and (3) to all our donors and sponsors whose support made it possible for us to create a new milestone in ACTMalaria history.
